Jackson Irish was born in Porterville, CA, and raised in Boise, ID. After serving in the active-duty United States Army for several years, including a stint as a company commander with the 10th Mountain Division (Climb to Glory!) in Afghanistan, he ended up outside of Washington, DC with his family. After ghost hunting at Arlington for nearly a decade, he finally found a job that took him back out west and now happily lives in the shadow of a 14er. He loves to travel, scuba dive, and root for the Washington Capitals.
